LOL Matthew you can get some of the items in Trinidad granted you get here early enough, prepared to use brands you are not used to and pay higher prices.I doh really expect people to pack EVERYTHING on that list, just what you need :)

Thanks slk, sometimes the most obvious items are what we forget.

Let me go print this check list just now.....
UK crew flying from Gatwick! Remember Gatwick still only allows ONE ITEM of hand luggage! a handbag COUNTS AS ONE ITEM!!
And most of us are flying to Tobago, you're fine on the boat but Tobago Express often don't like my bag-the-size-of-a-small-house. Usually get away with just smiling sweetly at them but be warned!

urgh I hate packing :(

WOW..now that is a complete packing list.

BTW: what happen to currency in whatever form: cash, credit cards, ABM card with cirrus logo, traveller's cheques?
And the power cords for each of the electrical items being packed esp the phone, the hair dryer and iPOD.

Air Plugs - Ya don't want to lose ya hearing.
Key Chain Bottle Opener - For bar limes.
Loose Glitter - Ya can never have too much glitter.
Body Oil
Perfume
Small portable Umbrellar - Dry Season? YEAH RIGHT. It rain de whole of Carnival Tuesday last year.
Water-proof mascara
Make-up bags (Ziploc bags to see what ya bringing)
Your favorite Body Soap - To smell sweet!

A complete LIST of everything ya bring. A copy ya leave at home and a copy with you to ensure you take back all dis stuff ya bring.
AND MONEY - Enough. Don't bring ya entire bank with ya!

Now with Travelers' Cheques, I got the understanding from one of the local banks in Trinidad, that there is a one time fee of $11.00TT to change all the travelers cheques at one time. However, if you plan to hold back some cheques, please note that you will have to pay the $11 dollar fee again.

Change some money as soon as ya come down. And no set of $100.00 dollar bills. Think safety. Break up some into $10 and $5 and even some $1 dollars.

If you are arriving Carnival Saturday or Sunday, please note that Banks are closed. So ensure that family or friends can assist you in some liquid cash as soon as you come down. Which means, bring me some Bailey's as ya come and I go fix ya up.

I am Malicious Jade and Ya don know
