OMG. I had sooooo much fun tonight. And as soon as i got home i HAD to log on to check-out the website.
Spice is DEFINITELY a contender for c2k9. the gf thinks that the costumes are GORGEOUS.
the pics don't do them justice. i'm disappointed that the site is not up as yet.
but melilot blue, peppercorns and brown sugar looking hottttttttt.
Spice's website is not fully up, but the pix on the website don't do the costumes justice indeed. Saucy has better shots of the costumes :-)
P.S. what are those black, battery-pack looking things on the Brown Sugar models?

There are some gorgeous costumes there. I love Peppercorn, Sea Salt, Brown Sugar and Mediterranean Borage. On the other hand, some of the male costumes remind me of Tribe's from this year - there are some ugly male costumes in the mix.
Anyhoos, Spice is the only new band I'm giving serious consideration to. The quality statement and the costumes impressed me. But who are the designers?
On the whole, loving it! Nice designs and use of beading. (I love my beading...) Like that they keeping it contained with only 9 sections.
I find Golden Basil and Brown sugar too similar in colour, and I find the pics on their website could do with more close ups of the waistbands, including the backs on the waistbands! But apart from that, quite impressed.
Funny how they bigging up Tribe on their website though...

Hi All,
The Spice informational and interactive site (website) will be continually upgraded. Lots of new ideas and exciting features will soon be added. The team wanted the site launched in conjunction with the full preAsentation (lol) and it was agreed initially it would only carry some features. But if you like what you see so far stay tuned and trust me, you are gonna love what is done with the site. The work has only just begun.
The close up pictures will be uploaded prior to registration opening on Friday.
The lighting feature will in fact be an option.
