End of Year Survey Results

The results are in, and much thanks to all of you who participated in this first ever survey. I know there were many questions with just as many varied answers! It was not an easy job sifting through all the data as 145 people took part in the survey .Some responses I had to cancel out, like when asked which costume was a favorite and the answer was "all of TRIBE" as I was looking for specific costume choices.

For transparency you can take a look at all the response data in spreadsheet form HERE. In collating the top three responses however, I tallied the total number of responses to get a hierarchy ranking, though in some cases there was a tie. Without further ado here are the TOP THREE results:

I wonder if the opinions of costume favorites might change once you see the presentation delivered on the road. Sometimes costumes look just alright at a launch but look real nice on the road.

Although it`s in no way a scientific poll, IMHO to have done it after Carnival would not have been a good idea. I`m assuming that this was to get initial reaction from the public, and is more of an effort to highlight the creative work of mascamps and their first impressions on people.
One chance to make a first impression!

PS..how about doing that poll AFTER the presentations on Carni Monday and Tuesday, and see the marked differences in opinion..just a thought!

I agree that the survey should have been done after Carnival and overall masquerader experience rated as part of the presentation. Also some of the results have discrepencies. Some of the bands made it on totally opposite lists.
