Though nothing can come close to the experience of Trinidad Carnival, one way to ease the "tabanca" of having to wait another 11 months for Trinidad Carnival 2010 might be planning for another Carnival which takes place sooner.

Saucy Norfolk carnival is now Aug 14-15
Notting Hill is 30th & 31st. For future reference, it is always on the last Monday of August.
belize has celebrations in the month of september; the road march is the 10th of september (or sometime near the 10th)
Boston Carnival is only 1 day- this year it falls on Aug. 22. Aug 23 is Cambridge (a nearby city)Carnival! I wish we had whole week of festivites!
Btw.. I can't wait for Caribana & Miami! Carnival Nationz and Broward Mud Mas nah missin meh!!!
