Island People's Kuthchela LIVE

Once again Trinidad Carnival Diary will be coming to you live from Island People's launch of Kutchela tonight. Unfortunately streaming video of the launch from Trinscene will not take place due to unanticipated challenges.

However, you can tune in to the blog for live updates, the media preview of costumes takes place at 10:00PM, followed by the presentation of all costumes to the public.

Also, Trinscene has their own page set up for you to get instant access to photos from the launch as well,check out Triniscene Live .

well since I never see no cane field in Trini with leaves that vibrant and obviously photoshopped, hats off to the photographer, but I want to see the costumes on person.

Ria where you living....you know that Trinidad once made money through sugar production...aka cane...LOL well yes...but the pic is obviously photoshopped as are ALL other carnival albums in the latter years... My interest is peaked and I definitely need to see these costumes in person to determine whether or not the colors are as vibrant.

I always find that the costumes from IP look nice on the net then carnival day I am disappointed by what I see... The only sections I was ever impressed online and on the road were Sandra Hordatt sections..She is usually on point and her section looks identical to the prototype..

I think costume looking good on pictures and no so great on the road applies to most bands
