as probably the most picky and the person who calls MANY costumes FUGLY, i am please to admit that them two costumes are actually catchy......

let's hope that IP keeps it up for the rest of the band....

Men .. yuh want yuh board shorts... there ya go... but at least it looking like they put SOME thought into a male costume..

Uhm...Is that supposed to be a headpiece? What kinda Indians wear that? I really hope thats the ugliest costume in the band because I dont wanna imagine something worse than that...The colours nice though...Kudos to the designer!!!!!!!

that female costume is hideous!
but look meh ex brother in law modeling the male!

I like them. I would never play in IP, but I think these two are nice costumes.

Designers are trying something new and that should always be applauded. This one didn't want to go for the traditional feathers on the headpiece, so I say all power yes.

I don't know what to think of the female costume. But I love the purple on the male!

I hope the female costume to that purple male is just as gorgeous. Can't go wrong with purple.

No comment on THAT female costume.

Allyuh, hush up ;) Big ting ah go on here! I am loving the vibes projected from the cane field!!!!

About the male head piece, sure it would have been better to have an "authentic" wrapped headwear, but I have seen many a male just fighting up to get their arm piece on correct. Does anyone think they could handle doing a head wrap. At least with this one (the costume hot, I like; the board short doesn't look out of place) they could throw it on their head, land in the band, fetch two Stags (Johnny for the alphas), get a head rel quick, and find a hot kuchela to make some sauce!!!

sooooo....i real struggling to find the appropriate reaction. like many, i have to applaud the idea, the committment to the vision, and stepping outside the 'costume-box' on a variety of the costume aspects, both male and female. HOWEVER! I really hope this female "teaser" was pulled from the least favorite of the sections, otherwise, i sorry for the IPans *shaking head in disappointment*...

Come on ppl , the female costume isn't that bad. Is it the lack of feathers you'll not feeling, don't give me wrong its not really a hot number but its not half as bad as you'll make it to be.

That colour would look really nice on someone with darker skin. I find people too critical yes.

I like the colour and what they did with the waistpiece. The headpiece isn't typical, but it shows creative thinking. And I could see enough man finding some way to use that scarf to hold on to and wine on a woman.

IP trying, and I say good for them.

Dare to be differnt from the rest!!!

i am just glad to see something other than feathers!

Allyuh realise is a DIAPER and not a bikini bottom chickie wearing dey?!

Who want to be wearing a diaper on the road? Or is that to circumvent the long lines for the WeeWee truck?

CarnivaLuva said...

LoL. Thank You Afro Chic! I thought the same thing haha. Not to be bad or anything but although the colours are nice, that has to be THE most unflattering bikini bottom/belt ever constructed!

Lol why, because all yuh bamsee not hanging out? Lol, not really feeling that costume either and wouldn't be caught dead in that hat. Maybe we need to see it from a different angle??

I like it. It's different and great to see something other than beads and feathers all over the place. I will never play with IP again because of the service I received from them but these costumes get two thumbs up from me.
