For all those who have had enough of the homogeneous pretty bikini and bead mas that is so popular for Carnival and want something "different" there is a new small band in town!
Cat in Bag Productions are presenting their debut Carnival 2010 presentation "
Cobo Town - (Let Us Prey)" .The only information I can find on Cat in Bag Productions is on Facebook so if you are interested in their presentation check out their Facebook Group
HERE for lots more photos of the Cobo in action!
I love it when I see small bands like this breaking out and doing their own thing because it really shows that you do not need a big band to hit the streets and enjoy Carnival, as so many critics make it seem, and I hope this aspect of Carnival, where anyone can make a costume and be part of the celebration, continues to be a tradition.
