Theme 2011....

So, sources have indicated to me that TRIBE will be playing "Warriors" for Carnival 2011.

Somehow I am excited by the theme, I do hope there are a lot of ethnic looking, multi coloured, feathered, beaded and gorgeous costumes for both men and women that incorporates less bling and more organic materials! This could be a pretty interesting theme, looking forward to the interpretation. Can you just see it now?

hmmmm but when they do less bling, some females complain that the costumes are not decorated enough!!

As a female who LOVES bling I can tell you a creative enough designer can use other materials and have a fantastically decorated costume.. see Rio pic for inspiration!

Back to year 1 a bit? It's about time! This is a theme that SHOULD be easy to execute properly as you said, for both women and men.

Maybe they should even consider competing next year? Why not eh.

Exciting!

I agree Sauce.....more organic materials. Anyone can slap some rhinestones and ehm....tassels on a costume.

I hope they're listening (reading).

I agree with bears....front line male costumes and MAYBE I will leave macfarlane for tribe.

OH PLEASE NO! More FL = More JAM! Smaller band first, FL males 2nd please.

Don't give Tribe ideas on how to make even more money while their "experience" spirals downward!

I look forward to seeing what they come up with for this theme. they can really do great things with it. i too would love to see less bling and more organic materials. plenty feathers and plenty rich colors will make this something to talk about.
