2010 Trinidad Carnival - Break Biche

Greetings peeps, Kermit here bringing you sights from Break Biche 2010. For those of you who read my commentaries from last year, you will know that I gave this fete a very high rating and I fully expected to repeat the winery in 2010, however, this was a different year and apparently a different fete. Now don’t get me wrong, the fete ended up being every bit as wild as the 2009 version, it just took a bit longer to achieve the critical mass that is required for true wildness and it was the good old DMV posse that provided the spark this night. (By the way, DMV = District of Columbia/Maryland/Virginia.)

After feteing all night at Ignite then catching a quick disco nap before setting sail on Silent Morning, we were starting to drag a bit. After leaving the Treasure Queen (and mashing up a pile of chicken in KFC) the crew only had time to shower and we were back on the road to Break Biche in Club Tsunami. We arrived as the sun was setting and Surface was jamming hard (or doing their equivalent to jamming hard) so you know the vibes were, how shall I say, in short supply. No matter, we could fortify ourselves with some liquid vibes until the sound vibes excited us and although it took several hours to feel the wildness return, once it did, it was back with a vengeance.

It started on a table…..

That is all.
Enjoy the pics peeps, SunnySide Up is next.
