Where To Find Bras and Corsets ?

For the ladies looking for corsets to send in to their band of choice for decoration, that is if they are offering this service, you can get seamless nude or black bustier here and here. If you live in Trinidad Wonderful World and Sincerely Yours also carry the "Seamless Bridal Corset":

And if you want a Corset that comes in colours to match your costume, I do like the Fredericks of Hollywood Dream Corset as well. You can get it in a variety of colours from yellow to purple to pink!

I also want to add that Victoria Secrets now have metallic gold and silver  "Naked" bras and undies! I bought these, so will give you a review and photos when they arrive:

And finally, for ladies looking for bras that are DD+ Figleaves has a wide range up to size 52G.

I'm really glad for this post because it gives me a chance to ask a q that I've been wanting to for ages.

Can you or anyone provide tips/instructions/tutorial on how to decorate a bra?

Also, does anyone knows where one can purchase coloured bras similar to those that are used in our costumes?

Thanks

RWB it is somewhat difficult to get the bras that they use in those costumes becuase those are sometimes custom made and ordered, Hai's Trimming for instance has a bra factory in China and he does production for Carnival costumes.

You can try La Senza, Victoria Secrets and sometimes random lingerie stores will have plain padded bras in nice bright colours. I have been pretty lucky in getting coloured bras from Victoria Secrets in the past.

This store sells plain bras at cheap prices, but good luck in actually getting them to respond:

As for decorating your bra yourself, I find Belly Dance forums are EXCELLENT guides with lots of tips. Here is a post I did with instructions on how to cover and decorate a bra in two hours (taken from one of those sites):

Last year I saw that some ladies had their own custom wire bras on Carnival Monday. Any idea where I can get one?

Kim
for wire bras online:

This young lady bought hers from Samba Costumes:

You may need someone to decorate it for you if you are not so inclined.

If you are in Trinidad send me an email and I will advise you on the wire benders that do wire bras here:

Even tho its for Monday wear rather than my costume, I'd like to get as close as possible. Would you say Oracle is closer to Frederick's Ultra Violet or Violet Fantasy?
