Yay Harts!

IP: what can I say...their costumes (to me) fall into the either you love 'em or hate 'em. Also since many many of their masqueraders are overseas folks, I see them selling out definitely but much closer to Carnival. Probably by end of January 2010.

Spice: nah, not seeing them selling out. Maybe having a decent showing but definitely not sold out.

Say what you want but the recession in the US and here in T&T is bound to result in less ppl playing mas in 2k10.

If Tribe is sold out and still quietly adding numbers and if Harts is sold out after adding another 1500 persons over last year, does that not suggest that all the bands that had it hard and buss last year are more than likely going to do the same in 2k10????

After years of playing with IP, I can say that a lot of their loyalists come from the US. So with everything going on with the economy I know a lot of people are not coming for carnival. Including myself and my crew.

I played in Harts in 2008 and had a BALL! All my family had to say is Dat is Dem people band yadda yadda. Said it before and will say it again, their costume are BOSS and very very well made. I got EXCACTLY what I paid for.

It is interesting to see that HARTS has sold out so early, considering that they finish playing mas by lunchtime, BUT there costumes are pretty and you do get alot of value for your buck...the price is right.

But I genuinely thought IP would have been sold out by now. For all their ways, I thought they had very loyal masqueraders. But it looks like you could treat people all how, once you have plenty feathers. But take the feathers out of the equation, and watch people run away! ;)

dkrewe, ronnie and caro, legacy and Trinirevellers will be close in numbers big bands but not quite sold out! and most surplus people will be with these bands!
