Dirty Medics came out for Carnival 2017 as the newest premium J'ouvert band and built a following on the concept: everybody in medical whites, a truck that looks like an ambulance, and paint by the drum. It is a medium band with a young creative team behind it, and each year gets a theme, from Apache in 2023 to Enter the Amazon in 2024 and Sweetest Jam in 2026.
For 2027 the theme is Enter the Wild, presented with ROD Kingdom, on the road from Nelson Mandela Park, St Clair, Carnival Monday 8 February from 3am. All-inclusive, with the medical dress code very much in force.
